Medgo2u was born from real conversations with real people. Our founder Ionela Marinau, a healthcare professional with years of experience across the NHS, private clients, sports medical teams, and seasonal practice in Verbier, kept hearing the same request: “Can you come to me?”
While working in Verbier, driven by a lifelong obsession with skiing and the biomechanics of MSK injuries, our founder saw firsthand how many people needed trusted care exactly where they were , whether on the mountain, at home, or during recovery.
That experience revealed a clear gap: people didn't just need convenience, they needed verified, professional, personalised care that could meet them on their terms.
From childhood, our founder was focused on thinking differently by understanding how things work, solving problems creatively, and building practical solutions and that mindset shaped Medgo2u from the beginning.
At the same time, many healthcare professionals were seeking the opposite of traditional systems. They wanted to earn fairly, work flexibly, choose their own clients, and practice with autonomy , without being limited by hospital or agency structures. However, there was no single, trusted marketplace where clients could safely book verified healthcare professionals for in-person or online appointments , and where professionals could work on their own schedule and terms .
So Medgo2u was created.
